Thanks for the post. I was reading some Flannery O’Connor this week and was struck by they way her insider/outsider perspective on the “culture of Christianity” in her own community influenced her own writing, and shaped a powerful, somewhat unnerving message for her community. So many great artists such as Hemmingway, Dickens, Twain, and of course Harriet Beacher Stowe have made such a profound impact on society through their creative expressions. I’m so confident that the movement of Jesus is going to experience a powerful wave of young, exciting, bold artists who are going to lead us into the heart of this next century.
